Counseling
At Bonham Elementary School, our dedicated school counselor is committed to empowering every student to reach their full potential. By implementing a comprehensive school counseling program, we strive to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
Our counselor provides a range of services, including:
- Individual Counseling: Personalized, short term support (6 sessions) to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Group Counseling: Opportunities for students to develop essential skills and connect with peers.
- Classroom Guidance: Lessons on topics like character education, social-emotional learning, and study skills.
- College and Career Readiness: Guidance and resources to help students plan for their future.
- Crisis Intervention: Immediate support during times of need.
Our counselor works closely with students, families, teachers, and the community to ensure that all students have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
