WELCOME TO BONHAM!
When Bonham Elementary school was built in 1957, the surrounding streets were dirt roads. As Midland expanded to the west, Bonham also grew, expanding not only its walls, but also the education within those walls. Many administrators and teachers have come and gone, but their service and dedication have been a part of the success of Bonham's development. Today, Bonham serves about 800 students from Pre-Kindergarted through 6th grade. Bonham is named after Texas hero James Butler Bonham, who lost his life defending the Alamo in 1836. The teachers and staff practice great service and dedication to ensure excellence in education. Parents, teachers and students agree, Bonham is TIGERific!
